Alfred just signed on to costar in a movie called "The Prince of Persia." The movie is based on a video game. With that kind of pedigree we KNOW it is going to be a huge success. I mean look at at the Super Mario Bros movie, or Doom, or Street Fighter. Poor Raul Julia. Sigh.
Anyway, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ben Kingsley will also be starring. With that pedigree maybe it won't be so bad after all. But then again, Dennis Hopper and Bob Hoskins were in the Super Mario Bros movie. We shall see. Good luck Alfred!
The film is set to be released next year. I'll post a trailer when it becomes available. Until then, here is a random clip from the video game!

Did you expect anything less from Mr. Molina?
Alfred recently signed on to star in "The Good War." Alfred will be playing a priest in the production which fits since I've always thought he had a pretty priestly manner. Whatever that means.
Guido Chiesa (Johnny the Partisan, Radio Alice) will be helming the project. Look for it at the end of the year.

Alfred Molina has just signed on to costar in the upcoming film "An Education." Variety reports that the film will also star Orlando Bloom, Emma Thompson and Peter Sarsgaard. Lone Scherfig is set to direct a script written by Nick "High Fidelity" Hornby. Thank god Jack Black will not be appearing in the film. (Just kidding Jack!)
Look for it later in the year. In the meantime, here is a random photo of people studying.

Alfred Molina has signed on to star in "The Lodger" , a remake of a 1927 film made by his brother in Alfred-dom, Alfred Hitchcock. Simon Baker also stars in the thriller based on a British serial killer. Something tells me this film will be suspenseful. Call it a hunch.
Here is a photo of Alfred on set:

It's official. Alfred has signed on to costar in "The Next Pink Panther", the follow up to the Steve Martin reincarnation of the Peter Sellers series. John Cleese and Andy Garcia have also signed on to costar. Unfortunately, Beyonce will not be reprising her role doing, um, whatever it is what she was doing. The plot has Clouseau teaming up with a group of other bumbling detectives in order to stop an international crime ring. That is Hollywood logic for you, if one bumbling detective is funny then, golly, five or ten more must be five or ten times more funny!
No word on which bumbling dectective Al will be playing. Maybe, just maybe, he can save this trainwreck. The film is set to be released next year.

Al recently chatted with ye olde Christian Science Monitor about what he's been into lately.
Television: Alfred and his wife love the Law and Order franchise. I am saddened he did not mention Lost. I mean seriously, flash forward?!
Movies: He is partial to last year's "Pan's Labryinth" because his father fought in the Spanish Civil War. My father fought in Vietnam, therefore I am partial to "Forrest Gump".
Books: Alfred cites a recently released biography of Brit wordsmith Graham Greene as sitting at the top of his recent reading list. I guess he just doesn't care how Harry Potter ended. To each his own.
Music: He makes quite a varied list. Everything from old jazz, to the Rolling Stones, to Alison Krauss. He also mentions having satellite radio. Listen, he can sugarcoat his reasons for having satellite radio all he wants, but we all know it's because of Howard Stern. Alfred can't get enough Baba Booie. It's ok. Happens to the best of us.
If for reason you are not satisfied with my adaptation of the interview, the original can be viewed here:
Go ahead and click it. Hurt my feelings.
The positive youtube reviews for Alfred's new TNT miniseries "The Company" have begun to pour in!
This is proly one of the best mini series i have ever seen
Its everything i thought it would be. 5/5☺
this is a very good show
You have been watching this haven't you? You don't want to end up like this guy, er, gal:
Darn, I missed the first one.
So what are you waiting for? It's on Sundays at 8. Here is a trailer to get your whistle damp:

Alfred Molina, Marcia Gay Harden and Richard Gere attend the movie premier of Miramax film 'The Hoax' in New York earlier this month.
Here's a great and rather rare interview with the man himself Alfred Molina speaking to Capone on 'Aint it Cool' News. Read the whole thing for yourself :-
